experience combined with ultra-modern lubrication technology, including PTFE and polymers. It offers:
Cal's grease comes in 2 grades ... resulting in 2 colors. Tan grease is used for the major bulk of all reels. We then developed a purple grease which was designed for small reels or for colder climate applications. Our grease also comes in 2 sizes ... 1 pound (454g) & 1 ounce (28g min)
Cost is $9 for 1 ounce size (28g min) ... and $39.95 1 pound size (454g)
**PRO TIP**
... WE ALWAYS RECOMMEND YOU YOU STIR THE CONTAINER FROM TIME TO TIME AS OILS CAN SLIGHTLY SEPARATE - very similiar to fancy peanut butter that is purchased in markets, that needs to be stirred occasionally (do not eat..)
Our grease is currently being used by “Dozens of reel manufacturers” including Accurate & Okuma that use our grease in all of their reels.

- THOROUGHLY CLEAN ALL SURFACES OF SALT, DIRT, AND OLD GREASE PRIOR TO APPLICATION!
- Apply to interior metal surfaces, including gears, screws, working parts and slow-turning bearings.
- Apply a small portion to star drags (just enough to leave a very thin film). LESS IS BETTER ON DRAGS!
- Inspect your reel annually, more frequently if used in severe duty. Repeat application procedures as needed.
